A Legacy of Emergency Response & Fire Debris Expertise
24HRC's fire recovery and contracting expertise began with its very first project—an emergency response operation following a devastating fire and explosion at Uniglobe Aerospace, a distributor of aerospace components. The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) and federal investigators, including the ATF, were engaged in the response and investigation, and 24HRC was immediately called upon to secure the site and manage hazardous debris.
This initial project demanded round-the-clock security, fencing, lighting, and debris removal involving highly volatile magnesium components—a challenge that solidified 24HRC’s ability to coordinate with emergency responders, manage hazardous materials, and execute fire cleanup operations under extreme conditions. The experience provided invaluable lessons in federal coordination and set the foundation for 24HRC's continued success in fire debris cleanup and site remediation.
Since that first project, 24HRC has become a trusted name in the industry, working alongside fire departments, insurance adjusters, emergency response agencies, and federal contractors to mitigate the damage caused by fire and other catastrophic events.
Federal & Government Contracting Experience
24HRC has extensive experience serving municipal, state, and federal agencies in disaster response and environmental remediation. The company was recently contracted for the Brea Dam Youth Hostel Fire Recovery Project, where it executed a precision demolition and site remediation following a total loss fire. This work included:
-
Full demolition of the structure in under 33 minutes, using wet methods to minimize dust and protect the surrounding environment.
-
Removal of underground storage tanks, leach lines, and utility systems to ensure proper site restoration.
-
Asbestos and lead abatement, followed by responsible separation and recycling of all recoverable materials.
This project demonstrated 24HRC’s commitment to safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible fire recovery operations, earning the company further recognition as a trusted partner for federal and military contracting needs.
Advanced Technology: LiDAR & Virtual Twin Services
Beyond traditional fire debris cleanup, 24HRC is at the forefront of integrating advanced technologies into its operations. The company pioneered the use of LiDAR and Matterport 3D scanning for post-fire assessments, creating highly detailed virtual twins of damaged sites.
-
Remote site inspections for insurance adjusters, fire investigators, and emergency response agencies.
-
Virtual training environments for fire departments, including OCFA, Burbank Fire, Torrance Fire, and San Bernardino Fire, allowing for immersive analysis of past fire scenes.
-
Enhanced record-keeping for government agencies, including NAVFAC and USACE, ensuring historical documentation of fire disasters for future training and recovery planning.
24HRC and Matterport worked together to introduce this innovative technology to NAVFAC EXWC and USACE LA District, demonstrating how virtual twins could support disaster recovery, recordkeeping, and training missions.
